Overview
Brittany Foley, a public defender and advocate, brought powerful personal stories and a strong voice for reform to her school board race. Despite being outspent nearly 5:1 and facing an opponent backed by powerful private schools, I saw someone wiling to persevere through an incredibly tough race.
I joined her team to capture visuals that showcased her community ties and advised on messaging (always centering her connection to the community), as well as strategic event appearances.

Impact
Brittany won her race, overcoming her opponent’s financial advantage through strong community organizing. As a first-time candidate in an off-year election, her community presence was critical. I worked with her team to highlight these strengths and advised on PR strategy to amplify her message.
