Challenge
Launching a statewide race requires building name recognition fast, while staying authentic to Kansas communities.
Though she had traveled across Kansas on her “Real Kansans” tour, the shift from a senator's town hall to a gubernatorial rally needed to occur quickly and clearly.
The campaign needed to present the candidate as credible, relatable, and ready for office.
Strategy
I collaborated with consultants and coordinated with staff to develop a visual + media strategy:
Created polished, professional photography that gave the campaign a consistent, trustworthy look across digital, press, and print.
Captured authentic, candid moments to reflect the candidate’s personality and values, helping connect with community members.
Delivered versatile images tailored for social media graphics, mailers and earned media; ensuring the campaign stayed visually aligned everywhere.
Impact
The campaign established a clear presence early, ensuring voters recognized the candidate across platforms. Media coverage amplified the launch, and consistent branding built trust across urban and rural audiences.
